CELEBRATING
1,000 YEARS OF HISTORY

Mont-Saint-Michel, a French cultural gem,
celebrates its first millennium in 2023.

Events for this anniversary year include exhibits, lectures, high tide celebrations,
concerts, shows and more. The festivities began on 20 May with a major exhibition
tracing the Mount’s history through a series of remarkable objects, some on public
display for the very first time.
